Eager to test his discovery, he asked his wife, Anna Bertha, to lend her left hand for an experiment. It resulted in the first-ever X-ray image, famously known as Hand mit Ringen.
Roentgen’s discovery led to his receiving the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1901. Following this, many scientists, such as Thomas Edison and George Eastman, have built on the Roentgen’s findings and the field grew into the digital revolution we see today.
FRCR: A Step Forward for Radiologists
FRCR stands for the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists, a prestigious qualification in the field of clinical radiology. To earn the ‘FRCR’ title, candidates must pass a challenging three part examination administered by the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR). The exams are divided into the following stages.
